The Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, Belmont Stakes and the BC Classic are now called the Grand Slam and this beautiful bay out of Littleprincessemma is the only horse to have done it . . . EVER!!!

American Pharoah, foaled on April 11, 2012, is a distinguished American Thoroughbred racehorse known for his remarkable accomplishments on the track. He made history in 2015 by becoming the first horse in 37 years to win the Triple Crown, claiming victory in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. Along with the Triple Crown, he also won the prestigious Breeders' Cup Classic, completing the modern Grand Slam of Thoroughbred racing.

Trained by Bob Baffert and primarily ridden by jockey Victor Espinoza, American Pharoah finished his racing career with a perfect record of 9 starts and 9 wins, amassing over $8.3 million in earnings. He garnered significant recognition, receiving the 2015 Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year and the Champion 3-Year-Old Male title.

After retiring, he became a prominent stallion at Coolmore's Ashford Stud in Kentucky, siring several stakes winners and establishing himself as a leading sire in thoroughbred racing.
